Join Us Today to Empower and Support Your Growth

IEPC brings together groups of LGBTQ youth and young adults throughout the Inland Empire region to hold space for one another and develop in their roles as community leaders.

T&NB Hangouts:

The Trans and Nonbinary Hangouts provide a supportive community space dedicated to the growth and empowerment of trans and nonbinary individuals. Through educational seminars, discussions, and lectures on topics ranging from health to life skills, this program addresses the unique challenges faced by these communities. Given that trans and nonbinary individuals are often among the least supported within the LGBTQ+ community—especially amid ongoing attacks and policies that create unsafe environments for trans and nonbinary students—this space is both vital and timely. This program is 18+ and take place 2x a month.

Queer Up Space Outside

The “Queer Up Space Outside” events offer queer individuals a chance to prioritize both their physical and mental health while providing a safe space for reflection and connection with others in the community. This program encourages collective exploration of local green spaces, fostering learning, growth, and meaningful interactions. This program is for all ages and happens quarterly.

LGBTQ+ Conference & Listening Sessions:

Our annual LGBTQ Conference provides a space for community members of all ages to come together in support of and to learn from local LGBTQ youth. Co-hosted by youth as well, the Conference includes a listening session meant to bridge multi-generational voices, educational and fun workshops about current issues and policies in schools and theatre, respectively.

Peer Connection and Wellness events:

A networking program was created specifically for transgender community members to meet, socialize, and ideally make lasting connections. For example, our “T4T Mixer” is an annual event, hosted at a local coffee shop – which also promotes community investment and connection.

Movie nights:

Our themed movie nights provide a chance for families to enjoy an evening together and are hosted twice a year locally at the IEPC office space. Additional activities like games, painting and/or coloring, and a space to dance are also offered for guests. Dinner, snacks, and refreshments are provided, at no cost.

Pride Pathways:

Our program addresses these disparities by connecting LGBTQ+ job seekers with employers that are explicitly LGBTQ+ friendly, by hosting quarterly job fairs that will ensure a safe and affirming space to explore career paths without fear of discrimination. The inclusion of specialized workshops, between job fairs, will provide crucial skills such as resume building, interview preparation, and workplace communication to prepare participants for the job market.

Workshops & Legal Support:

In partnership with Inland Counties Legal Services, we offer educational workshops on topics such as discrimination laws, legal protections, gender identity markers, and name changes. These workshops are held 1–3 times a year and are typically open to individuals aged 18 and older, based on community requests.
